Infante Álvaro of France Arrives Stateside via the Queen Mary

New York Harbor — The docks were jumpin’ this morning as Crown Prince Infante Álvaro of France set foot on American soil, stepping off the RMS Queen Mary to a chorus of flashbulbs and fanfare. The dashing royal plans to hoof it around Manhattan, aiming to eyeball the Statue of Liberty, scale the Empire State Building, and swing upstate to Fort Ticonderoga before hightailing it to Washington D.C. for a chinwag with President Roosevelt.

The Prince called the city “a marvel of modern spirit” and praised America’s “boundless energy.” New Yorkers responded with cheers and streamers, giving the visiting blueblood a razzle-dazzle welcome.
